Tutors can create their profiles on YouLearnt for free. The commission is charged when a tutor begins lessons with learners.

We offer two types of sessions: One-to-One classes and group courses:
For Group Courses, YouLearnt takes a 25% commission, while the tutor receives 75% of the total amount earned from each course.

For One-to-One Sessions, we offer two types: trial sessions* and package hour sessions. A 75% commission is charged on each trial session with a new learner to help fund our efforts in advertising and promoting to attract new learners.

To receive 25% from the trial session, it depends on the learner booking a package* with you. If the learner does not book a package, you will not receive compensation for the trial session, as we anticipate that the learner may not be satisfied and could request a refund.

For all the following package hours, YouLearnt's commission rate is 25%. It will decrease when you spend hours teaching on YouLearnt. After 300 hours of teaching, the commission will go down to 22%, and then after 1000 hours, it will be only 19%.

So, keep this in mind when you set a rate for your hour.

When the Tutor spends 300 hours teaching on YouLearnt, they will be promoted to Senior Tutor and can change their profile URL to be easy to spread. The Senior Tutor becomes a Professional Tutor after spending 1000 hours teaching on YouLearnt.
