Hi! I'm Maira, an English teacher and professional English–Spanish translator from Argentina. I really enjoy helping students gain confidence and feel more comfortable communicating in English. As a translator with several years of experience working with English and Spanish, I also have a strong understanding of how English is used in real-life, academic, and professional contexts. I like to make my lessons practical, engaging, and adapted to each student's needs and interests. Whether you're learning English for work, travel, studies, or simply because you want to improve, we'll work together on the areas that are most useful for you. We can focus on conversation, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or any specific skills you'd like to develop. I believe every student learns differently, so I like to use a variety of activities and materials depending on what works best for you. We can talk about interesting topics, work with videos and texts, practice real-life situations, or simply have a conversation and learn along the way. Most importantly, I want my classes to be a comfortable space where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and gradually become more confident using English.
