I'm enjoying partial retirement and work part-time. I have a daughter who is grown, and I love my hobbies which include sewing, knitting, and crochet, and jewelry making. These are so relaxing, and friends and family love these items at Christmas and birthdays. I'm currently living in Mississippi but will someday move back to northern Michigan. I miss the snow and ice.

I have been tutoring ESL (English Second Language) for 15 years. In the process, I've learned many of the challenges that face ESL speakers. It can be confusing. I'm happy to help students make sense of this and help them find a clear path to speaking English. It's helpful for them and a joy for me. Aside from being a native speaker, I also majored in Written Communications with a Journalism Minor obtained from the English department at Eastern Michigan University. This has enabled me to add that final speaking 'polish' in the way of good English skills that include grammar and vocabulary.
